Bulldogs Lauded For Giving Back To Community

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State student-athletes were recently honored by the MSU Maroon Volunteer Center for their voluntary efforts and contributions to the community.
The Undergraduate M-Club, a varsity letter-winner community service organization, earned a gold level Community Service Excellence Award at the Volunteer Awards Banquet occurring Tuesday night. The MVC, which also organizes community involvement for the entire Starkville campus, also recognized Bulldog student-athletes with the “Volunteer Organization of the Year” award. Acknowledging their participation in the United Way’s United We Feed Drive, TK Martin Glow on the Go Fun Run, Bully’s Book Blitz, and countless other projects throughout the year, campus officials congratulated our student-athletes for having a winning attitude in the classroom, in competition, and throughout the community.
MSU student-athletes collectively give thousands of hours each year throughout Starkville, the Golden Triangle, and our entire state— a great example of MSU’s young people making MSU alumni, fans, and supporters very proud.
