- Chris Stratton was promoted to Triple-A Sacramento this past week.
- Rafael Palmeiro was named the greatest MLB Draft pick ever to come from the state of Mississippi.
- Will Clark was named the best first baseman ever to play in the NCAA College World Series in Omaha.
