MSU-USM Football Season-Opener Set For 9 p.m. CT Kickoff on FS1
STARKVILLE, Miss. -- Mississippi State’s 2015 football season-opener at Southern Miss will kick off at 9 p.m. CT on Saturday, Sept. 5 live on Fox Sports 1 (FS1), it was announced by Conference USA on Monday.
The Bulldogs will be making their first appearance at M.M. Roberts Stadium in Hattiesburg since a 26-23 MSU victory on Sept. 9, 1989. The Maroon and White began a 10-win 2014 campaign with a 49-0 blanking of the Golden Eagles last September in Starkville.
It will be the Bulldogs’ first appearance on FS1 since the network officially launched in August 2013.
