MSU Returns Home Tuesday To Host Alabama At 8:30 P.M.
STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State returns to the MSU Soccer Field Tuesday night to host Alabama in an exhibition contest that kicks off at 8:30 p.m.
Admission to all matches at the MSU Soccer Field is free.
Aaron Gordon’s squad returns to the home pitch following a tough 1-0 setback at SMU on March 28.
State had the more opportunities in that contest, taking a 14-7 shots advantage, including a 3-2 edge in on-goal attempts.
Prior to that game, MSU defended the home turf with a 3-0 win against Mississippi College on March 18.
Senior Shelby Jordan, SEC All-Freshman Team selection Mallory Eubanks and Jamila Coner netted the three goals in that contest.
Tuesday’s match will be the next-to-last opportunity to watch the team at home in the spring slate. The Bulldogs host UAB at 1 p.m. April 11 before heading to Tupelo April 15 for an 8 p.m. contest against Memphis.
