Football Announces Summer Camps Schedule; Register Online

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Coming off its highest final national ranking since 1940 and a successful spring, Mississippi State football has announced that registration for its youth summer camps is now open at HailState.com/camps.
All camps will take place at the state-of-the-art Leo Seal Jr. Football Complex and feature tutelage from the Bulldog staff, including the 2014 National Collegiate Coach of the Year Dan Mullen.
Position day camp for rising freshmen to rising seniors will be daily from June 2-13. Junior Dawg Camp takes place June 3-4, while 7-on-7 Team Camp will be June 5 for Classes 4A-6A and June 12 for Classes 1A-3A. The three-day position camp is scheduled for June 7-9 for ages 13 to rising high school seniors. June 10-11 will feature a specialty kicking camp. The expert camp is slated for July 17.
Position day camp costs $30 and will consist of individual drills and instruction from the MSU staff.
Junior Dawg Camp costs $125 or $65 daily. That camp goes from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. on June 3-4 and will highlight fundamentals from Mullen and the staff. Campers will learn the proper way to run, throw, catch, defend, block, form tackle and kick. Parents are welcome to attend.
Registration for the 7-on-7 camp is $25 per player. Each team must mail a $100 deposit to reserve a spot. Each team will play 10-12 games with officials on site.
The three-day position camp is $295 for an overnighter and $235 for a day camper. Quarterbacks in the Dan Mullen “Top Gun” Camp will learn mechanics in throwing, football and the mental side of the game. Skill players will learn fundamentals and have one-on-one competition. The “Trench Warfare Camp” is exclusively for linemen.
The specialty kicking camp costs $200 for overnight campers and $175 for day campers. That camp will cover basic fundamentals and techniques on kicking, punting and snapping as well as guest lectures.
