Meyer, O'Brien To Highlight Football Coaches Clinic, April 9-10

STARKVILLE, Miss. – Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer and Houston Texans’ head coach Bill O’Brien will headline the 2015 Mississippi State Football Coaches Clinic to be held April 9-10 at the Leo Seal Jr. Football Complex.
Interested coaches can register at www.HailState.com/Camps or contact (662) 325-1896 for more information. The cost of the clinic is $45 pre-registration and $50 at the door on the day of the event. Staffs that bring four or more coaches cost $40 per person.
Admission includes access to all of the speakers and breakout rooms, a Thursday evening crawfish boil and lunch and dinner Friday. The Bulldogs will practice both afternoons of the clinic.
Meyer is coming off his third national championship as a head coach after spearheading the Buckeyes to a 14-1 record in 2014. He owns a 38-3 mark and a perfect 24-0 Big Ten regular season record in three years at Ohio State.
Meyer and Mississippi State head coach Dan Mullen first crossed paths while on staff at Notre Dame in 1999. They then worked together at three different schools over the next eight years, including Bowling Green, Utah and Florida. The two helped the Gators claim BCS National Championships in 2006 and 2008.
O’Brien just completed his first season with the Texans, guiding them to a 9-7 mark and a second-place finish in the AFC South Division. The 2012 National Collegiate Coach of the Year, he spent two seasons as the head coach at Penn State and has over 22 years of coaching experience at the collegiate and NFL levels. Prior to his stint with the Nittany Lions, O’Brien served on the New England Patriots’ staff since 2007, including the 2011 campaign as offensive coordinator.
In addition to Meyer and O’Brien, members of the Bulldog coaching staff will also speak. Registration gets underway at noon on Thursday, April 9 in the lobby of the Seal Complex.
