MSU Men?s Tennis Match Against Ole Miss Rescheduled For March 25
STARKVILLE, Miss. – After inclement weather forced its postponement last week, the annual in-state men’s tennis showdown between Mississippi State and Ole Miss has been rescheduled for Wednesday, March 25.
First serve between the Bulldogs and Rebels is set for 3 p.m. CT that day at MSU’s A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre. The two squads were originally set to meet on Thursday, March 5, but wintry weather conditions in the Starkville area caused the match to be pushed back.
MSU is coming off a successful 2-0 weekend, defeating No. 55 Arkansas, 4-0, and Nicholls State, 6-1. The Bulldogs are 11-3 and 2-0 in the SEC and jumped six spots to No. 42 in the most recent ITA National Rankings. State will travel to No. 18 Florida (Friday, March 13 at 4 p.m.) and No. 39 Auburn (Sunday, March 15 at 1 p.m.) this weekend.
