How to order MSU student tickets
Part 1: Register and activate your student account for HailState.com. If you have already activated your account go to part 2 below.
1. Click here to go to the STUDENT access portal which will look like this.
2. Enter your MSU account email address (ex: zzz111@msstate.edu) and select activate.
3. Click on the password recovery link to set up your password. Re-enter your MSU email address and click the send information button.
4. You will be sent an email with a link to reset/create your password. Click on the link in the email.
5. On the password recovery page you will enter the password you will want to use in the future as you will start using this login and password for student guest tickets as well as buying your football season tickets in future years.
6. Once you enter your password twice and click the change password button you will now have your account registered for HailState.com. In the future you will login with your username being your MSU email address, and the password you have just set.
Part 2: Purchase your student season ticket.
1. If you have just completed the registration steps you can use the click here to log in button after setting your password or if you are returning to HailState.com go to the ticket home page and use the link under student tickets.
2. Use your MSU email address as your login and the password you have created here.
3. Once you are logged in, go to “Buy Tickets Now” link from your account.
4. Select “Purchase Season Tickets” under Football – Home.
5. Click on the “Buy Now” button on the next screen which is the 2015 football season ticket page.
6. Scroll down until you see the student ticket listed below the public tickets. Click on the “RESERVE TICKETS” to the left of the MSU Student Season Tickets listing to purchase your student season ticket.
7. Follow the online purchase process by clicking the “Confirm Reservation” button on the next page.
You will then have one more “Confirm Order” button to click before getting to checkout.
8. At checkout you will have the choice of paying for your student season ticket with a credit card or have the $55 placed on your student AR account.
A. Credit card: If you use a credit card just enter a card nickname, the card type in the drop down and then the number and expiration date. Check the “I Agree Terms and Conditions” box and click the “Make Payment” button to complete the purchase.
B. Student AR account: Select “Student accounts receivable” in the payment plan drop down, check the box “I Agree Terms and Conditions” and then click the “Save To Payment Plan” button. DO NOT CLICK THE MAKE PAYMENT BUTTON if charging your ticket to AR. Once you click the “Save To Payment Plan” your order will process and be complete. Note that if you are having the $55 placed on your AR account that the following page will show the status as not paid because it will be added to your account at a later date.
9. You should receive an email confirmation of your 2015 student season ticket order. The ticket to each game is on your student I.D. so YOU WILL NOT be able to attend the game without your student ID. Student guest tickets will be available the Monday prior to each home game and you will return to HailState.com/tickets to purchase those. Refer to the Student Ticket info page on the Ticket Office Home page for information on purchasing guest tickets.
