MSU, UAB Sept. 6 Kickoff Set For 1 p.m. on FSN
STARKVILLE, Miss. – Mississippi State’s football game against UAB on Saturday, Sept. 6 in Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field will kick off at 1 p.m. CT and be televised by Fox Sports Net, it was announced on Friday.
The Bulldogs open the 2014 campaign with back-to-back home non-conference games for the first time since 1999. MSU hosts Southern Miss in the Aug. 30 season-opener at 6:30 p.m. CT on the new, national SEC Network.
The Bulldogs own a 4-1 record all-time against UAB, including four straight victories in the series dating back to 2006. MSU won the last meeting 21-3 in Birmingham in 2011.
