State Hosts Southern Miss Saturday To Wrap Spring Slate
STARKVILLE, Miss. – Aaron Gordon’s Mississippi State soccer team wraps the spring slate Saturday morning as it hosts Southern Mississippi at the MSU Soccer Field as part of Super Bulldog Weekend presented by Regions Bank.
Kickoff for the match is set for 11:30 a.m., and admission is free.
State has posted an unbeaten 3-0-1 mark in spring action this season. The Bulldogs knocked off Memphis in Tupelo Tuesday night, scoring the game’s lone goal on an Elisabeth Sullivan strike.
The Dawgs played to a scoreless tie against Northwestern State in Jackson last Saturday.
State opened the spring with 1-0 and 4-0 victories against Georgia State and Jackson State, respectively.
