Football Welcomes 19 Newcomers To Team As Summer Classes Begin
STARKVILLE, Miss. - As summer classes began this morning, Mississippi State's football roster expanded to include 19 newly enrolled freshmen beginning their academic careers.
The 19 new student-athletes include Nelson Adams, Quadry Antoine, Devon Bell, Beniquez Brown, Fred Brown, Richie Brown, Ryan Brown, Cole Carter, Torrey Dale (formerly Bell), Devon Desper, Deontay Evans, Brandon Holloway, A.J. Jefferson, Cedric Jiles, Adarrius Perkins, Will Redmond, Nick Schuessler, Gus Walley and Jordan Washington.
The Bulldogs will begin practice on Aug. 2 and will kick off the season on Sept. 1 against Jackson State.
