Schaefer To Appear On ESPN's 'Outside The Lines' Sunday

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State head coach Vic Schaefer will appear on television sets nationwide Sunday morning as he participates on an ESPN Outside the Lines panel discussing Title IX and women's basketball. The show, hosted by Steve Bunin, airs at 8 a.m. CT on ESPN.
In addition to Schaefer, fellow panelists for the segment, which was filmed Friday, include LSU head coach Nikki Caldwell, "Godmother of Title IX" Dr. Bernice Sandler and former WNBA player and Olympian Teresa Edwards.
"It was a tremendous honor to be a part of the panel on Title IX," Schaefer said of the segment. "I have seen a lot of progress in that area, but we still have some work to do. It was a great experience and a tremendous honor to be representing Mississippi State on national television.
"I am excited about being at Mississippi State. I have thoroughly enjoyed the first few months and having the opportunity to meet the people who love this University and support it. It was a tremendous opportunity to wear the Maroon in front of a national audience."
