MSU Summer Baseball Camp Features Six Sessions In 2012

This year's camp offering features two high school team camps, a high school all-skills exposure camp and high school pitcher/catcher/infield camp, and two sessions of the popular youth day camp.
Camp sessions are conducted at Dudy Noble Field, the home of the Mississippi State University Bulldogs, the Shira Complex, and at the Palmeiro Center, a spacious climate-controlled indoor training center adjacent to Dudy Noble Field. Head baseball coach John Cohen and members of the MSU baseball staff --- Tyler Bratton, Lane Burroughs, Greg Drye, Nick Mingione and Butch Thompson head up the camp staff that will provide thorough instruction and training and direct drills designed to enhance the skill levels of each camper. The four high school sessions are overnight camps, and camp fees include all meals and lodging.
The first two camp sessions, the High School Team Camps (June 4-7 and June 11-14) have already reached capacity, with high school squads from Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri and Tennessee set to participate in the training and competition.
The High School All Skills Exposure Camp (July 10-13) and the High School Pitcher/Catcher/Infield Camp (July 13-15) are designed for baseball players in grades 7-12. The two sessions of the Youth Day Camp (July 16-19 and July 23-26) feature training and competition for baseball players in grades 1-6.
