MSU Soccer Assists With Habitat For Humanity Build

The Mississippi State soccer team reached out to the community April 14 as it helped with construction on a new home as part of Starkville's Habitat for Humanity.
The Bulldogs assisted with painting, roofing and installing the back porch ceiling as part of the day-long project.
"I am very proud of our players for the dedication they showed in giving back to the Starkville community," head coach Neil Macdonald said. "It was hard work and something that was new to many of them, but they got their hands dirty and had an unbelievable attitude. This was a great learning experience for our team, and a tremendous opportunity to give back to our great community."
Macdonald's squad hosts the annual alumni match at 10 a.m. Saturday as part of Super Bulldog Weekend presented by Regions Bank. Admission to all action at the MSU Soccer Field is free.
