Lady Bulldog Tennis Heads To New Orleans

STARKVILLE, Miss. - After
competing in two straight weekends of Southeastern Conference play, Mississippi
State Lady Bulldog tennis will step back out of conference Tuesday, heading to
New Orleans to take on the Green Wave of Tulane. Tuesday's match is set to begin at 2 p.m.
CT.
MSU will be led by sophomore Alexandra Perper, ranked 91st nationally. In doubles play, Perper pairs up with Olesya Tsigvintseva to form the nation's No. 44 ranked doubles pair for MSU.
Tulane, ranked 57th at present, currently stands at 12-2 overall. The Green Wave is led by Mariam Kurdadze, who is 18-7 overall this season, 9-4 at the No.1 position. Kurdadze and Emma Levy are TU's top doubles duo with a 10-3 mark at the top spot in 2012.
Following Tuesday's affair, State will remain the Crescent City to face UNO on Friday, also in a 2 p.m. start.
