First Annual Junior Golf Camp Set For June 10-13

During the four-day camp, campers will enjoy four sessions of golf at the MSU Golf Course and have the opportunity to utilize the team's recently completed practice facility. The junior golfers will attend a workshop on the rules of golf and get a first-hand look into the golf conditioning program used by the Bulldogs and Lady Bulldogs. Camp-goers will even be given the opportunity to have their swing analyzed by the MSU Professional Golf Management program's state-of-the-art video swing analysis equipment.
All activities will be instructed and monitored by MSU head coaches Ginger Brown-Lemm and Clay Homan, as well as, assistant coaches Leigh Phillips and Sean Covich. Players and support staff will assist the coaches throughout the camp.

For you more seasoned Maroon and White golfers out there, remember that the Second Annual Maroon Tee Classic has been scheduled for Friday, May 11. Slated for a 10 a.m. shotgun at Old Waverly Golf Club, the four-man scramble allows your team to play alongside an MSU player, coach or administrator, while helping support the Bulldog and Lady Bulldog golf programs.
A free clinic will also be held for members of the Maroon Tee Club on April 28. Set to begin at 10 a.m. at the MSU Golf Course, the clinic offers a chance for Maroon Tee Club members to fortify their golf game just two weeks before the Maroon Tee Classic. Following the clinic that afternoon, the Mississippi State baseball team hosts rival-Ole Miss at 2:00.
