Athletic Department To Host Live Chat During Super Regional Game #1
"With an 11 a.m. (CDT) first pitch scheduled for the first game of this weekend's series, we understand that a large number of our fans might not be able to gather together in person to watch the game," assistant athletic director John Cade said. "So we wanted to provide a place they can come and interact with our staff, and feel like they are with a group of fellow Bulldogs."
The live chat will be hosted by Joe Galbraith of the media relations department, and contributors will include athletic department officials, media members and selected comments from fans. Live onsite updates from director of athletics Scott Stricklin, assistant AD Bart Gregory and Voice of the Bulldogs Jim Ellis - all via Twitter - will also be incorporated into the chat.
"We've have tremendous participation in the chats we've hosted in the past with Coach Mullen and others, and this is just one more way to engage our fans through our website," Galbraith said.
The chat will begin at approximately 11 a.m. The MSU-UF game will be televised by ESPN2 and streamed online at ESPN3.com.
