Student Association, MSU Athletics Partner For Giveaways At Spring Game
For the first time, the Student Association and Athletic Department will be giving away prizes to students at designated times throughout the Maroon and White spring football scrimmage on Saturday, April 9th.
From 3 p.m. until kickoff, students will be able to swipe their student I.D. cards upon entering the stadium. Swiping locations will be setup inside gates 2, 10, 12, and 20 at all four corners. Upon swiping their cards, students will be entered into a pool to be randomly chosen for prizes.
Random drawings will be made during the first and second quarters, and at halftime. The giveaway prizes include an autographed football, a $100 Barnes and Noble giftcard, a 16 GB IPad 2, a 32GB IPod Touch, a semester of books from Barnes & Noble, and free In State-Tuition for a semester. Students must be present to win and should report to the bronze bulldog statue on the 50-yard line if their name is called.
Student Association President, Rhett Hobart says, "We are thrilled to be working with the Athletic Department on this event and are excited about continuing the partnership we have to provide students with the best athletic experiences possible."
The Maroon & White game will kickoff at 5 p.m. and all students are encouraged to support the football program by attending and participating in the promotional giveaway.
The Student Association is located in the Colvard Student Union on the campus of MSU. This organization serves as the governing body and liaison between students and university officials. The Mississippi State Athletic Department is located in the Bryan Building on the campus of MSU.
