Spring Football Practice Again Open To Fans; Dates Announced
“We can’t wait to get back out there and get to work,” Mullen said. “I know the players have been working hard in the weight room and we’ll get to see the progress they’ve made since we last saw them in Jacksonville.”
The Bulldogs return 15 starters and 44 letterwinners from the 2010 team that won nine games, including a second-consecutive Egg Bowl victory and a resounding 52-14 victory over Michigan in the Gator Bowl.
After four practices during the initial week, the Bulldogs will observe the university’s week-long spring break before returning to work the week of March 21. Weekday practices will take place in the afternoon, with Saturday workouts usually beginning in the morning.
Highlights of the five-week practice schedule include Junior Day on March 5 and the annual coaches’ clinic on Thursday, March 24 and Friday, March 25. Possible Saturday scrimmages will be announced as the schedule approaches.
