Walk-ups Being Accepted for MSU Soccer's Youth Day Camps

STARKVILLE, Miss. – The Mississippi State soccer program will be accepting walk-ups for next week’s Youth Day Camps that begin June 7 and run through June 11 at the MSU Intramural Fields on the south end of campus.
Campers need to bring an application form and a signed physician’s statement to the June 7 registration. Campers will receive a T-shirt and MSU soccer ball. For more information, contact Bulldog assistant coach Myranda Hill at myranda@athletics.msstate.edu or (662) 325-0204.
The Youth Day Camps will run 9 a.m.-noon for ages 4-7 and 9 a.m.-5 p.m. for ages 8-14. Cost for the 9 a.m.-noon camp is $99, while the day-long camp will be $199 per camper. The $199 cost includes lunch each day.
The day camps, which will be held at the MSU Soccer Field, are designed to meet the needs of the youth soccer player in a safe and fun learning environment. During the week-long camps, campers will work on developing soccer fundamentals such as dribbling, turning, shooting, passing, shielding, running with the ball, heading and goalkeeping.
MSU will host another day camp July 26-30. State will also conduct its inaugural Striker-Keeper Camp June 25-27 and the College Prep Camp July 16-18.
