Crowd The Courts For Charity This Weekend At MSU Men's Tennis Matches

Head coach Per Nilsson and the tennis Bulldogs will make a charitable donation to the philanthropy of the sorority that has the most members in attendance for a pair of home matches against 33rd-ranked Alabama and No. 45 Auburn.
"It is a big weekend for us with it being our last opportunity to earn a pair of quality home wins," said head coach Per Nilsson. "We know Alabama and Auburn are very talented, but we're hoping for a huge fan support to help us out this weekend."
Last season, the MSU men's tennis team hosted nine matches and finished fifth nationally in average attendance per match. The Bulldogs have only hosted six matches thus far this season, but are hoping to see the trend of fan support continue in their final two matches of the season this weekend.
MSU's match against No. 33 Alabama will be served up this Friday, Apr. 9 at 3 p.m., and Sunday's 1 p..m. match against 45th-ranked Auburn will be senior day for the Bulldogs' lone-senior Chris Doerr.
Attendance is free to all MSU home tennis matches, which are played at the A.J. Pitts Tennis Centre located across the street from the MSU athletic ticket office.
