Annual Pig Cooking Contest Set For Friday And Saturday
The annual pig cooking contest will return to its familiar location behind McArthur Hall and will begin on Friday morning. Parking and setup will begin at 8 a.m., and will last throughout the day.
There will be a "Sampling of the Grill" presented by the Mississippi Pork Producers Association and Mississippi Farm Bureau. Two samplings will be held at their tent - at 4 p.m. Friday afternoon and again Saturday morning at 11 a.m.. Both will be open to the public.
Final judging will begin at 9 a.m. Saturday, with the winners announced later in the day.
