Vicksburg's Bradway, Amory's Brandon To Guest Coach Maroon-White Game

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Brad Bradway and Steve Brandon have earned the honors of being guest coaches at Mississippi State's Maroon-White Spring Game. The two long-time supporters of Mississippi State athletics earned the positions through an auction held by the Bulldog Club.
As guest coaches, Bradway and Brandon will participate in the player draft held Friday morning, join the teams at practice Friday afternoon and make the tough decisions for their teams on Saturday.
Bradway, who recently retired after overseeing several farms, lives in Vicksburg, Miss. and said this will be one of his first Super Bulldog Weekends to attend after 33 years of springtime field preparation. A member of the Bulldog Foundation, Bradway graduated from Mississippi State in 1974. Bradway will bring along an assistant coach, Oscar Hartman, a 1973 Mississippi State graduate.
Brandon, a resident of Amory, Miss., retired in 2002 after serving as Vice President for International Operations for SPEC Group. He and four others founded SPEC Group, a staffing Company focused on the Energy and IT sectors. SPEC Group subsequently merged with TMP Worldwide to create what today is MONSTER Worldwide the parent of monster.com. Brandon and his wife Patsy Fowlkes have been recognized by the university for their donations that led to the renovation and naming of Fowlkes Auditorium, completion of the women's basketball locker room and a scholarship endowment.
The Maroon-White Spring Game will kick off on Saturday at 5 p.m., and will be televised on tape delay by CSS. The first airing of the broadcast will be Sunday afternoon at 3 p.m., and subsequent rebroadcasts will be announced later. Those replays will include enhanced coverage, with interviews from players and coaches.
