Two Lady Bulldogs Earn All-SEC Accolades For Indoor Season

STARKVILLE, Miss. - LaQuinta Aaron and Keisha Wallace were named to the 2010 SEC indoor track and field All-SEC teams the league offices announced Monday.
Aaron, a senior was named to the All-SEC Second Team, and Wallace was named to the freshman All-SEC team after their outstanding performance at the SEC Indoor Championships February 26-28.
A native of Tuscaloosa, Ala., Aaron scored 12 solo points in the championships. She finished second in the 60-meter hurdles with a personal-best time 8.31 seconds. Her time moved her to second all-time in MSU history. Aaron also finished fifth in the women's pentathlon where she scored 3,841 points in the five event competition.
Wallace, a native of Jamaica, finished seventh in the 60-meter hurdles in freshman record fashion. In the finals she ran 8.57 seconds, but posted a personal best 8.39 seconds in the events prelim.
