MSU's Tate Wins Gold Medal At World Indoor Championships

DOHA, Qatar - Mississippi State standout freshman sprinter Tavaris Tate added an IAAF World Indoor Championship gold medal to his resume Sunday in Doha, Qatar.
The speedster from Starkville, Miss., ran third leg on the championship Team USA 4x400-meter relay who won gold in 3 minutes, 03.40 second fashion.
Tate opens his inaugural outdoor campaign for the Bulldogs March 20 at the Rhodes College Invitational in Memphis, Tenn.
