Women's Basketball Team To Hold NCAA Selection Show Party Monday
STARKVILLE, Miss. - The Mississippi State women's basketball team will host a NCAA Tournament selection show party on Monday, March 15. The gathering will take place at the Templeton Academic Center on the MSU campus and will begin at 5:30 p.m. CT.
The gathering will include a viewing of the NCAA Tournament announcements which will be shown live on ESPN beginning at 6 p.m. CT. Light food and refreshments will be served.
The Lady Bulldogs (19-12, 9-7 SEC) are coming off a semifinals appearance in the Southeastern Conference tournament last week in Duluth, Ga. During the regular season, State finished in a tie for third in the league standings.
State will be looking for its sixth NCAA Tournament appearance and its second in two seasons. Last season as an 11-seed, the Lady Bulldogs reached the second round in Columbus, Ohio after knocking off Texas in the first round.
The NCAA Tournament first round games will begin on March 20-21 at 16 regional sites.
