MSU Baseball Summer Camps Open With Team Camp Sessions

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Nineteen high school baseball teams from five states will converge on Dudy Noble Field in the coming week as Mississippi State University’s 2009 Summer Baseball Camps kicks off with a pair of team camp sessions.
Teams from Mississippi, Alabama, Florida, Georgia and Louisiana are registered for this year's high school team camps (grades 9-12), set for sessions June 27-30 and June 30-July 3, with games between the teams played at Dudy Noble Field and area high school diamonds.
The All-Skills Camp (grades 7-12) is set July 6-10, the Pitcher/Catcher Camp (grades 7-12) is scheduled July 10-12, and the Youth Day Camp (grades 1-6) runs July 13-16 and completes MSU’s 2009 summer camp lineup.
Mississippi State head baseball coach John Cohen and members of the State coaching staff will serve as the primary instructors for the ’09 MSU summer baseball camp sessions. Camp sessions will be held at Dudy Noble Field, Polk-DeMent Stadium, the home of the Baseball Bulldogs, and at the spacious Palmeiro Center, the Diamond Dogs’ spacious climate-controlled indoor training facility.
