Ladies Football Clinic Set For Saturday, Registration Tops 150
STARKVILLE, Miss. ? Mississippi State head football coach Dan Mullen and his staff will host the 2009 Ladies Football Clinic on Saturday, June 20, and more than 150 women have already signed up to take part in the day-long event.
“We’re excited to have such a good early registration, but there’s still plenty of room available,” Mullen said. “This should be a really fun-filled, hands-on day of learning the same techniques and strategies that we use to instruct our players.”
The clinic will begin with registration in the Palmeiro Center at 8 a.m. followed by coaching and interaction with Mullen, assistant coaches and players. There will also be question-and-answer sessions with Megan Mullen and other coaches’ wives, current coaches and players. Participating ladies will also receive on-field instruction and a behind-the-scenes look at the locker room and other football facilities.
