MSU-LSU Saturday Contest Time Changed; Senior Salute Moved To Friday Night
STARKVILLE, Miss. - First pitch for Saturday’s series-ending Mississippi State-LSU baseball game at Dudy Noble Field has been moved up two hours to 12 p.m. (CDT) due to impending weather conditions anticipated Saturday afternoon in Starkville. It was originally scheduled for a 2 p.m. start.
The pre-game salute of MSU’s nine senior players, originally scheduled for Saturday’s series finale, will now be held prior to Friday’s 6:36 p.m. game.
Second-ranked and SEC-leading LSU (40-14, 19-8 SEC) rallied from 4-1 deficit to nip Mississippi State (24-28, 8-19 SEC) 5-4 in Thursday night’s series opener at Dudy Noble Field.
