MState Preps For Last Tournament Before Postseason

STARKVILLE, Miss. ? The Mississippi State men’s golf team travels to Madison, Miss., on Monday to compete in the Reunion Intercollegiate at the par 72 Reunion Golf Club.
MState will send a familiar lineup to the intercollegiate with seniors Brian Mason, Matt Fast, Noah Goldman, Josh Bevell and current-team stroke average leader (73.23 strokes per 18 holes), Carlos Sainz, Jr.
"We have several guys that have played at Reunion (Golf Club) and played well there," said Coach Clay Homan. "Hopefully we can use this as an opportunity to get some good momentum going into the SEC tournament."
The Bulldogs are part of a 15 team field that includes UAB, Jackson State, Louisiana Tech, Memphis, UNCG, North Florida, South Alabama, Southeastern Louisiana, as well as SEC-foes Arkansas, Auburn, LSU, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt.
The Bulldogs will tee off at 8:30 a.m. with two rounds to be played tomorrow and the final round to be played on Tuesday, April 7.
