Camps feature individual instruction, five-on-five games, three-on-three competition, a free throw competition, and a hot shot competition. The individual camps are open to youth in grades 1-12, while the team camps are open to junior high, high school and AAU teams.
Individual Camp, June 7-10, is for grades 6-12. Each participant receives personalized instruction and coaching with head coach Sharon Fanning and her staff. Individual stations are setup for topics ranging from position work to the fastbreak. This camp is designed to help campers develop their total game.
Available for those in grades 6-12, Position Camp is June 10-11. Campers are divided by age group and each group will receive instruction related to their position, as well as an overview of each position. Shooting Camp, scheduled for June 11-12, is for grades 3-12. Camp instructors evaluate the campers’ fundamentals of shooting and offer assistance in shooting layups, jump shots, pivots, three-point shots, hooks and free throws based on their age group division. A reduced rate will be offered to those interested in a combined individual, position and shooting camp.
The second camp offered is the Team Camp from June 18-20. This camp is designed for coaches to teach their system. Teams will play at least nine games and practice courts and videos will be available upon request. In addition, the Shootout Camp will be June 19-20. This camp gives teams an opportunity to play a minimum of three games in one day. This camp is designed for coaches to teach their system during competitive games.
The Elite Camp, June 21-23, focuses on the advanced, highly-skilled high school player and helps prepare top players for the college game. While prior experience as a varsity starter is strongly recommended, a coach’s recommendation is required.
This year’s Day Camp for grades 1-6 is set for June 22-25. The Lady Bulldog camp focuses on fundamentals in individual stations, position development and offensive and defensive strategy from one-on-one to five-on-five games.
