Mississippi State Announces Parking/Shuttle Plans For Super Bulldog Weekend

STARKVILLE, Miss. - The Mississippi State Athletic Department announced Thursday plans for parking and shuttle bus routes during 2009 Super Bulldog Weekend presented by Regions Bank, April 17-19.
Following is specific information on each:
The following parking rules will be in place for Super Bulldog Weekend:
- Baseball parking will be enforced throughout the weekend.
- The following grass lots will be roped and attended on Saturday, April 18, but will be free. These will be the ONLY grass areas available for parking on campus:
? Football Lot 28
? Pay lots on South Stone
- The Cooley Building parking will be available but not attended.
- Football Lot 2 (behind the North end zone scoreboard) will be restricted access.
- Handicap lots will be normal for baseball and the Memorial Hall handicap lot will be attended for football.
- A limited amount of space will be reserved for RV parking in the lower lots immediately west of the Sanderson Center. Space will be available on a first-come, first-serve basis beginning at Noon, Friday, April 17.
The following shuttle information will be in place for SATURDAY, APRIL 18, ONLY:
Shuttle Operating Times:
Shuttles will operate from 9 a.m. - 9:30 p.m. on the following schedule:
- 2 shuttles from 9 a.m. - 11 a.m.
- 4 shuttles from 11 a.m. - 5 p.m.
- 2 shuttles from 5 p.m. - 9:30 p.m.
NOTE: At peak times (when 4 shuttles run) there will be 15 minutes between shuttles. When only two are running, times may be 20-30 minutes between shuttles.
Shuttles Stops (denoted by signs on and off campus):
- Humphrey Coliseum
- 4-way stop at B.S. Hood & Barr Avenue (North end of football stadium)
- Bost Extension Center
- Stop sign at Bost Ext. Drive & Stone Blvd.
- Cooley Building
- Regions Bank (rear side facing Lampkin Street)
- 3-way stop sign at First United Methodist Church
- Regions Bank (front side facing Main Street)
- Strombolli's Pizza
- University Drive/Nash Street
