Bulldogs Hit The Links In Florida

The Bulldogs are two weeks removed from an 11th place finish at the SunTrust Gator Invitational. In
MSU will play the first two rounds of the Troy Invitational on Saturday followed by the final round on Sunday.
Making the trip for the Bulldogs will be seniors Noah Goldman, Carlos Sainz Jr., Matt Fast, Josh Bevell and Brian Mason and, competing as an individual, redshirt freshman Lee Heaton. Goldman and Sainz have now competed in all seven of the Bulldog tournaments this year, Bevell and Fast will be making their sixth tournament appearances, and Mason will be playing in his fifth tournament. Heaton is making his fourth appearance of the season and his first of the spring. Heaton will be competing as an individual and his score will not count towards the team’s overall score.
“The field is not as strong as the Gator Invitational, but we are still facing some very competitive schools,” said head coach Clay Homan. “For us to win, we will have show up focused and give a quality performance.”
