Bulldogs, Tigers Meet For Second Time This Year

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State welcomes Auburn to Humphrey Coliseum on Saturday in a 5 p.m. tip that will be televised by Fox Sports South.
It's the second meeting of the month between the two Western Division rivals, as the Tigers (18-10. 7-6) claimed a 91-76 victory on Valentine's Day in Auburn. The win for Coach Jeff Lebo's crew snapped a four-game losing skid in the series.
Overall, MSU (17-11, 7-6) has won 13 out of the last 16 in this series, including last year's 89-78 affair in Starkville. Auburn hasn't won here since 2000.
Mississippi State is also looking to avoid its third-straight loss for the first time in two years. The Bulldogs, who are tied with Auburn for second place in the divisional standings, have dropped back-to-back decisions to Tennessee and Alabama.
After Saturday, MSU returns home on Wednesday for the final time this season against Florida. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. and the game will be televised by Raycom.
Also, due to various other sporting activities on campus, including baseball series with Nicholls State, parking will be at premium. However, basketball parking passes will take top priority throughout campus.
