Bulldogs Set For National TV Two Of First Three Weeks

STARKVILLE, Miss. ? The 2008 Mississippi State football season will begin with a 5:45 p.m. (CT) kickoff in Ruston, La., the Southeastern Conference announced today. The Bulldogs season opener at Louisiana Tech will be televised nationally by ESPN2. The national cable outlet also selected MSU’s SEC opener for broadcast, setting the MSU-Auburn game time for 6 p.m. (CT).
Along with the season lidlifter and the conference opener, the regular-season finale against in-state rival Ole Miss will again be shown on Raycom Sports (formerly Lincoln Financial Sports), with an 11:30 a.m. kickoff on Friday, November 28.
Mississippi State also announced the starting time for the September 6 game against Southeastern Louisiana. That contest will kickoff at 6 p.m.
