Tyler Bratton Named Director Of Baseball Operations At MSU
STARKVILLE, Miss. --- Mississippi State University has hired Tyler Bratton as Director of Baseball Operations, MSU head baseball coach John Cohen announced Tuesday. The hiring is pending the approval of the Board of Trustees, Institutions of Higher Learning.
“Tyler is a great catch for Mississippi State because of his love for Bulldog Baseball,” said Cohen. “He has a passion and an energy level that make him a perfect match for our program.” In his position, Bratton will handle team travel arrangements, coordinate video operations and coordinate day-to-day team operations.
Bratton, 24, a 2007 graduate of Mississippi State, served as a student assistant coach at MSU in 2008. He was a member of State’s 2006 and 2007 baseball teams and was a two-year regular as an outfielder at East Mississippi Community College following a successful prep career at Oak Hill Academy in West Point, Miss.
He is currently completing graduate studies in sports administration at Mississippi State.
