Friday, Saturday Baseball Times Versus Mississippi Changed
STARKVILLE, Miss. - The game times for Mississippi State's baseball affairs with rival Mississippi on Friday, March 14, and Saturday, March 15, have been changed to accommodate conflicts with MSU basketball's play in the 2008 Southeastern Conference Men's Basketball Tournament in Atlanta on those days.
The Bulldogs and Rebels will now meet at 3 p.m. CT on Friday, March 14, and at 6 p.m. on Saturday, March 15. Sunday's original game time of 1:30 p.m. has not changed.
The SEC Western Division champion basketball Bulldogs will open play in the SEC Tournament on Friday as the West's top seed and will meet either Florida or Alabama Friday evening at 6:30 p.m. CT. Should they advance to Saturday's semifinals, they would play that day at 2:15 p.m. CT, and Sunday's championship game is slated for a Noon CT tipoff.
