ATLANTA, Ga. - Due to the severe storm that delayed the 2008 Southeastern Conference Men's Basketball Tournament quarterfinal matchup between Mississippi State and Alabama Friday night for over an hour, and also ultimately caused the postponement of the Kentucky-Georgia quarterfinal, the SEC has announced a revised schedule for the 2008 SEC Tournament.
Kentucky and Georgia will now play their quarterfinal matchup at Noon ET Saturday. The semifinals will be played beginning at 6 p.m. ET, pitting Tennessee and Arkansas in the first contest. Mississippi State will then meet the winner of the UK-UGA contest at approximately 8:30 p.m. ET following the UT-ARK affair.
Sunday's SEC title game has been moved back two hours, to 3 p.m. ET.
All remaining games will be played at Alexander Memorial Coliseum on the campus of Georgia Tech University. Access to the remaining games of the championship will be limited to student-athletes' family members, cheerleaders, bands and other credentialed individuals.
Saturday night's games will be broadcast by Raycom Sports, FSN South and Sun Sports (in South Florida ONLY).
