Bulldog Netmen End Road Swing At Nevada

STARKVILLE, Miss. - Mississippi State's men's tennis team will conclude its current road swing and its regular season non-conference slate Saturday, as the Bulldogs travel to Reno, Nev., to face the University of Nevada. Match time is scheduled for 3 p.m. CT.
The Bulldogs, ranked 39th in the latest Intercollegiate Tennis Association's poll, are coming off a 4-3 win Wednesday against UNLV in Las Vegas, Nev. State is 6-5 overall this season and have won two straight matches. MSU's 32nd-ranked Philippe Frayssinoux, junior Ryan Farlow and freshman Antonio Lastre have won two straight heading into Saturday's match. The Bulldogs are just one win shy of matching last season's win total and have already matched the win total of two seasons ago.
Nevada enters Saturday's matchup with a 2-7 overall record which includes wins over Gonzaga and Utah State. The Wolfpack is lead by sophomore Laurent Garcin who is 7-1 in dual match play this season.
In the first meeting ever by the two programs last season in Reno, MSU dropped a 4-3 decision to Nevada. Following Saturday's match, State will return home to host Southeastern Conference foe South Carolina Friday, March 21.
