STARKVILLE, Miss. - Maroon to the Max, Mississippi State's premium online streaming service, will offer free streams during State's baseball games against Air Force this Friday and Sunday, February 29 and March 2.
Friday's MSU-Air Force affair, slated for 4 p.m. CT (3:30 p.m. pregame), will be video and audio streamed free of charge to the general public as an early season bonus to all Bulldog fans.
Sunday's game, set for 1:30 p.m. CT (1:20 p.m. pregame), will be audio streamed only through M2M and will be the only available broadcast means for that affair. Due to the conflict with MSU's women's basketball game against LSU Sunday afternoon, the Diamond Dog baseball affair will not be available through WFCA-FM in French Camp as originally scheduled.
Fans can access the free streams at the respective game times simply by visiting the M2M Live Events page on mstateathletics.com at the listed times and clicking on the associated stream buttons to launch the M2M media player.
As a reminder to its paid subscribers, M2M will have a special presentation this Thursday, Feb. 28 (stream time will be approximately 7 p.m. CT). That night, M2M will broadcast the program segment of MSU's First Pitch Banquet, which annually introduces the Diamond Dog squad to those in attendance. This year's featured speaker will be former Bulldog Jonathan Papelbon. Papelbon, who helped pitch the Boston Red Sox to the championship of the 2007 World Series, played at Mississippi State from 2001 to 2003, registering nine wins, 13 saves and a 2.90 earned run average in 61 relief appearances.
