STARKVILLE, Miss. - Bulldog Baseball and Maroon to the Max will form another impressive combination in 2008, as the MSU premium streaming service will broadcast all 56 MSU baseball games live via audio streaming, while 25 of State's 31 home affairs will be offered via live video streaming on M2M*.
After Coach Ron Polk's Diamond Dogs open the season at North Florida in a three-game series, State returns home for a 14-game homestand, starting with a three-game series versus Air Force, Feb. 29-Mar. 2, at Dudy Noble Field/Polk-DeMent Stadium.
M2M will also bring its video subscribers a special presentation on Thursday evening, Feb. 28. That night, M2M will broadcast the program segment of MSU's First Pitch Banquet, which annually introduces the Diamond Dog squad to those in attendance. This year's featured speaker will be former Bulldog Jonathan Papelbon. Papelbon, who helped pitch the Boston Red Sox to the championship of the 2007 World Series, played at Mississippi State from 2001 to 2003, registering nine wins, 13 saves and a 2.90 earned run average in 61 relief appearances.
In addition to all of that coverage, M2M will also provide the weekly "MSU Baseball with Ron Polk" show each week. The show begins airing in late March.
As a special early-season bonus, a free broadcast will be offered to all State fans by M2M for the MSU-Air Force affair on Fri., Feb. 29. That game, slated for 4 p.m. CT, will be video and audio streamed free of charge to the general public. To access the streams, fans should visit the M2M Live Events page that day at the listed start times and simply click on the streaming buttons for that event.
So sign up today and don't miss all the Diamond Dog action M2M has to offer this spring!
