Football Game Times Set; Dogs On TV First Three Weeks

STARKVILLE, Miss. ?€“ The 2007 Mississippi State football season will begin at 7:00 p.m. (CT) on August 30, the Southeastern Conference announced today. The Bulldogs' season-opener against LSU will be televised nationally by ESPN, and is one of four MState games already selected by television.
Along with the Thursday night opener, State's games at Tulane and Auburn will be televised by CSS and Lincoln Financial Sports, respectively. The Tulane contest will kick off at 6:00 p.m. in the Louisiana Superdome and the Auburn game will begin at 11:30 a.m. at Jordan-Hare Stadium.
Mississippi State's season finale against in-state rival Ole Miss will also be shown on Lincoln Financial Sports at 11:30 a.m., on Friday, November 23.
In addition to the released television times, the MSU athletic department has set game times for the September 22 contest against Gardner-Webb (6 p.m.), and the October 6 homecoming game against UAB (1:30 p.m.).
