Josh Oller Named To SEC Men's Golf Community Service Team
The SEC sponsors Community Service Teams for all 20 league sponsored sports. The team looks to highlight an athlete from each school who gives back to their community in superior service efforts.
Oller, a senior from Brandon, Miss., is a member of the MState M-Club (the student-athlete organization on campus), and has participated with the organization's annual Thanksgiving food drive along with delivering it to families in the Starkville community. He helped paint paw prints on the campus streets to spruce up the campus roads. The general business major was named Academic all-American by the Golf Coaches of America Association in 2006. He is also a two-time member of the SEC Spring Academic Honor Roll. Oller was a Dean's list honoree in 2004-05 with a 3.53 grade point average.
