Mississippi State Preps For Saturday's Final Scrimmage

The team worked some goal line, two-point conversion and special situations, on both sides of the ball, but preparation for Saturday's scrimmage and resulting game itself will do little to assist the coaching staff.
This game is for the players, their families and the fans, Croom said. We just don't want to get anybody hurt.
We've answered all of our questions about this team, Croom continued. We still have some weaknesses that we'll have to cover for, but as far as learning anything from the scrimmage, no, that's already done.
The MSU head coach talked of the team's lack of experience in some areas when questioned about those weaknesses, but he was steadfast that he had enough players on hand.
I like our numbers, Croom said, referring specifically to the defensive line. We have more talented players here now than we have had since we've been here, we just lack experience in some areas. We're where we were when Deljuan (Robinson) was a sophomore, but we have more depth.
The Bulldogs conclude spring drills with the Maroon and White scrimmage Saturday as part of Super Bulldog Weekend activities. The game will kickoff at 12 noon in Davis Wade Stadium at Scott Field and will be taped for rebroadcast on Comcast Sports.
