Dallas Receives Spirit Of State Award
STARKVILLE, Miss. ?€“ Stephanie Dallas, a senior goalkeeper, was one of19 Mississippi State students to receive the inaugural Spirit of State award last year, recognizing exceptional personal contributions to student life at MSU. This year, Dallas sits on the committee to select the recipients for the second annual award.
Considered the most prestigious award given to students, the Spirit of State award honors students who have excelled in campus involvement, service to the university, and impact on their peers and the broader campus community. A clinical exercise physiology major, Dallas is a member of the Dean's List, the Leadership Team for Fellowship of Christian Athletes, M-Club Secretary, and was the captain of the MSU Soccer Team. She is also a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority, a three-time member of the SEC Academic Honor Roll, as well as the SEC Good Works Team and the Student Athlete Advisory Committee.
Last year, Dallas saw action in 11 games, making 57 saves with a 2.39 goals against average.
