2017 (SENIOR)
A mainstay on the Bulldogs’ back line and started all 18 matches as a senior… Tallied a career-best three assists while also attempting a career-high seven shots with three on target… Played in a career-high 1,561 minutes in her final season with the Maroon and White, going the distance eight times… Assisted on A.K. Ward’s first career goal against Missouri State on Aug. 20… Found Ward again on Sept. 3 vs. Colgate… Her third assist of the year came on Payton Gruenewald’s goal at No. 3 South Carolina on Oct. 5
2016 (JUNIOR)
Played in 14 games and earned the start 12 times… Logged 992 minutes on the season, going the full distance four times… Earned a season-high 104 minutes against Vanderbilt… Scored her first collegiate goal in the 2-0 win at College of Charleston… Earned her first career assist against Arkansas… Took three shots, with one being on target.
2015 (SOPHOMORE)
Played in all 18 of MSU’s games her sophomore season, getting the start on the back line 17 times… Started 16-straight games for the Bulldogs… Logged 1,521 minutes for the Maroon and White, going the distance 11 times… Unanimously named MSU’s Defensive MVP by her teammates.
2014 (FRESHMAN)
Saw time in six games on the year and made five starts… Logged a total of 288 minutes… Her first collegiate appearance came with a starting role vs. Louisiana Tech (Sept. 14), when she played nine minutes… Played a full 90 minutes against Vanderbilt (Oct. 17)… Started in four of the final games of the season as added depth on the Bulldog defense… Did not record any shots from her position on the back line of the defense.
HIGH SCHOOL/CLUB
Standout at multiple positions throughout her high school career at Ocean Springs High School and, prior to that, Meridian High School… Earned all-state accolades from The Clarion-Ledger despite having her senior season for Patrick Hayes’ club cut short due to an injury… Helped the Greyhounds to a stellar season that ended 18-1-2 in the second round of the Mississippi 6A playoffs… Selected to the South squad for the 2014 MHSAA All-Star Game… Scored three goals and assisted four others from her center back position as a junior to help Ocean Springs win its first state championship in a girls sport… Named The Clarion-Ledger First Team All-State and All-Coast Sun Herald following her junior campaign… Earned all-region honors each year of her high school career from 7th grade up to her senior year… Posted her highest point total at Ocean Springs, 15, her sophomore season with five goals and five assists as a defender… While playing forward as a freshman at Meridian High School, totaled 28 points on nine goals and 10 assists in 17 games… Notched eight points in 14 games for Shane Kowalski’s State Cup-champion Gulf Coast United club squad in the 2012-13 season… Helped GCU to two-straight Gulf State Premier League titles (2012, 2013) and the 2012 Region 3 Invitational Showcase championship… Participated in the Adidas International Training Program in conjunction with the 2011 Women’s World Cup in Frankfurt, Germany, traveling to Germany for 10 days and competing against international competition… Produced her best club season in 2011 with 42 points on 12 goals and 18 assists in 14 games … Mississippi ODP participant from 2008-2010… Member of Ocean Springs’ South State championship 4x100- and 4x200-meter relay teams in 2012.

Participated in the CJ Bailey Skills Academy “Celebrity” basketball game… Spends time with area school children at carpool meet and greets… Volunteers her time as an assistant coach for the U12-U13 Gulf Coast United FC girl’s team.
PERSONAL
Born Khalyn Harmon on April 17, 1996, in Hattiesburg, Miss… The daughter of Gene and Alita Harmon, and has two siblings, Chase and Kinsley... Her father was a former linebacker for Southern Miss who led the Golden Eagles in tackles two-straight seasons… Majoring in communication with a concentration in public relations… Has sang the national anthem multiple times at men’s and women’s basketball games, as well as softball games… Favorite team to face is Auburn… Proudest moment of her career was overcoming an ACL injury she suffered in her senior season of high school… Goal after college is to become a public relations director for an athletic team.
