STARKVILLE — Mississippi State's hot start to the season continues. In front of an absolutely electric, sold-out crowd at Davis Wade Stadium, the No. 24 Bulldogs defeated the No. 19 Missouri Tigers 31-24 on Saturday night. 1st Quarter
8:56 - Score from far. Kamario Taylor connected with Sanfrisco Magee for a 43-yard touchdown strike. State took a 7-0 lead.
0:24 - Might as well jump. Kamario Taylor found Fluff Bothwell for a jump-pass touchdown that extended State's lead to 14-0 after Kyle Ferrie's PAT.
2nd Quarter
0:00 - Missouri cut into the lead with a field goal and a touchdown in the second period to make it 14-10 Bulldogs headed into the locker room.
3rd Quarter
10:50 - Missouri opened the second half with a touchdown to claim its first lead of the game, 17-14.
4:37 - Kyle Ferrie connected on a 28-yard field goal to tie the ballgame at 17-17.
2:53 - Missouri goes back on top, 24-17, following a 28-yard touchdown pass.
