
Jones, Pulliam Named To Preseason Coaches All-SEC Team

STARKVILLE — Mississippi State Bulldogs Kelley Jones and Ethan Pulliam have been named to the 2026 Preseason Coaches All-SEC Team, the league announced Wednesday.
Jones, listed as a preseason second team defensive back, appeared in 11 games with four starts and collecting 29 tackles last season. In addition to this league honor, the Clarksdale, Mississippi product was named to the Preseason All-America teams by the Associated Press and Pro Football Network, while also garnering preseason praise on the Bronko Nagurski Trophy Watch List.
Pulliam is listed as a third team punter by the SEC coaches and enters the 2026 season as a second team punter on the Sporting News preseason All-America team in addition to securing a spot on the Ray Guy Award Preseason Watch List. The Starkville native ended the 2025 campaign with a program record 46.8 yards per punt.

Jones was labeled a preseason second team defensive back on Tuesday’s elite list of college football talent.
