Mississippi State Begins Play At Maridoe Collegiate

Carrolton, TEXAS – Mississippi State begins play tomorrow at the Maridoe Collegiate, hosted by North Texas.

Maridoe Golf Club plays host to this year's event, playing as a 7,569-yard par 72.

The Bulldogs return to action following their fifth-place showing at the Schenkel Invitational earlier this month. State has racked up three top-five finishes this season.

Maridoe Collegiate Team Lineup

Garrett Endicott (No. 1) – Senior – San Antonio, Tex.

Endicott is coming off his best showing of the season, finishing fifth at the Schenkel Invitational. He carded consecutive rounds of 5-under 67, ultimately putting together an overall score of 9-under 207. The senior earned SEC Golfer of the Week honors for his performance.

So far this season, Endicott has compiled three top-10 finishes and five top 20s. He leads the team with 13 rounds of par or better, six rounds in the 60s, and a 70.65 scoring average.

Dain Richie (No. 2) – Graduate – New Berlin, Ill.

Richie returns to the team lineup this week at the Maridoe. He finished tied for 45th in his most recent tournament at the Watersound Invitational, concluding the event with an even-par 70.

He helped lead State to a team victory at the Cullan Brown Collegiate in October, putting together a fourth-place showing with rounds of 4-under 67 and even-par 71.

Jackson Skinner (No. 3) – Freshman – Birmingham, Ala.

Skinner holds down the three spot this week. He placed 33rd at the Schenkel Invitational, opening the event with rounds of even-par 72 and 7-under 65.

The freshman opened the spring season with his best showing in the Maroon and White, placing sixth overall with three par-or-better rounds. His opening-round 6-under 64 made him the fourth freshman in program history to shoot a round of 64 or better.

Ugo Malcor (No. 4) – Senior – La Baule, France

Malcor starts in the fourth spot this week, having been one of the Bulldogs' most consistent players this season. The senior has compiled five top 20s and two top-10 showings.

He comes into the Mariode after a 17th-place performance at the Schenkel Invitational, where he opened with consecutive rounds of 2-under 70.

Bryson Hughes (No. 5) – Freshman – Saint John's, Fla.

Hughes makes his first start in the team lineup after three individual starts. He put together the best performance of his collegiate career at the Schenkel, finishing tied for seventh and earning SEC Freshman of the Week honors.. He was the only Bulldog to card under-par rounds all three days.
