STARKVILLE — The Southeastern Conference released its preseason coaches poll ahead of the upcoming men's tennis season, and Mississippi State enters the year projected to finish second in the conference.
The Bulldogs, carry an ITA preseason national ranking of No. 7 and are positioned for another strong campaign under head coach Matt Roberts, with a roster that features a plethora of experienced returners. Mississippi State's lofty preseason standing sets the stage for a challenging SEC slate that features several marquee matchups against nationally ranked opponents.
State's conference schedule includes four high-profile contests against teams ranked inside the ITA Top 25, highlighted by an early test when State host league favorite and ITA preseason No. 2 Texas on Feb. 23rd at 11 a.m.
